To disable third-party antivirus software in Windows, follow these steps:
Press the Windows key on your keyboard and type "Add or remove programs" in the search bar. Open the "Add or remove programs" option from the search results.
In the list of installed programs, locate any antivirus software you have installed. Refer to this list https://tinyurl.com/yyasj83u to identify common antivirus programs. Select the antivirus program you want to remove and click on the "Uninstall" button.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation process for the selected antivirus software. This may involve confirming your action, closing any related processes, or restarting your computer.
Note: The process may vary slightly depending on the specific antivirus software you have installed. If you encounter any issues or require more detailed instructions, consult the documentation or support resources provided by the antivirus software vendor.
If you are using Windows 10 and want to disable Windows Security (Windows Defender), you can use Defender Control by following these steps:
Download Defender Control from this link: https://www.sordum.org/downloads/?st-defender-control
Extract the downloaded file and open the extracted folder.
Run the "DefenderControl.exe" file.
If prompted, enter the password: "sordum".
In the Defender Control window, click on the "Disable" button to turn off Windows Security (Windows Defender).
You will see a confirmation message indicating that Windows Security has been disabled.
If you are not using Windows 10 and want to disable Real-Time Protection in Windows Security, follow these steps:
Open Windows Security. You can do this by clicking on the Start menu, selecting "Settings," and then clicking on "Update & Security." From the left-hand menu, click on "Windows Security."
In the Windows Security window, click on "Virus & threat protection."
Under the "Virus & threat protection settings," click on "Manage settings."
Turn off the toggle switch for "Real-time protection" to disable it.
Please note that disabling antivirus software or Windows Security should be done with caution, and it is recommended to keep your system protected by enabling antivirus and security features after you have completed the specific task that required their temporary disablement.
